  • Youth Leadership– currently serving over 80 Dutchess County high school students
  • Leadership Dutchess - 29 working adult professionals enrolled in the Class of 2018
  • Leadership Connections Mentorship Program - 38 Poughkeepsie High School students paired with 14 community professionals for the 2017-2018 school year.
  • The Dutchess Youth One Stop Program – currently working with over 130 at-risk youth to complete educational goals and find careers right here in the Hudson Valley.
  • Nearly half-a-million scholarship dollars awarded since 2001.

Our Programs

Leadership Connections

This intensive mentorship program is exclusively offered to Poughkeepsie High School juniors and seniors. Leadership Connections pairs underserved students with community business professionals for unique mentorship opportunities.

Your donation will help give students out-of-the-classroom experiences that broaden thinking, build confidence, develop personal and professional habits and enhance his or her college portfolio.

Leadership Dutchess


This signature program has been dedicated to educating and motivating citizens to serve in leadership roles within our community. This program was designed to foster the development of a group of professionals who grow and learn together over a nine-month period.

Your donation will contribute to building the knowledge and understanding of leadership in local professionals.

Youth One Stop

A comprehensive education and job-training program utilizing local resources to benefit at-risk youth in Dutchess County. The program is open to income-eligible youth, ages 14-24 who are facing obstacles inhibiting them from completing school, finishing their high school equivalency or gaining employment. Participants will explore career options in the community and gain practical experience through jobs and internships as well as have access to tutoring, mentorship and degree/certification programs.

Your donation will help program youth secure stable housing, gain access to food/clothing and take care of other basic necessities.

Youth Leadership

An innovative, leadership development program, Youth Leadership develops the academic, social and life skills of Dutchess County high school students. Students emerge from this dynamic program more confident and well-rounded with improved leadership skills and a better understanding of themselves and their community along with the skills and attitudes needed for success in college and life.

Your donation will help enrich the Youth Leadership curriculum by ensuring the continuation of enhanced sessions including Career Night, Teambuilding Day and a Tour of Dutchess County.

Career Achievement Program


This yearlong program is designed to provide a fulfilling mentor relationship to enhance professional growth through a supportive, one-on-one relationship. Applications are accepted at any time. 

Your donation will help professionals throughout our community become stronger through his or her success.

Scholarship Program


One of the missions of The Chamber Foundation, Inc., is to provide scholarships for students attending local schools. Applications open January 1, 2017.
